Includes music of various groups including Ibo group and northern territories Muslim tribesmen's religious, hunting, and cattle songs in Ghana; a Nigerian Ibo group in Ghana; Ashanti drums and Anansi song; Mano songs in Liberia; balaphon and drum music, Burkina Faso; Bambara balaphon and banjo music, Mali; children's songs in Ga, Twi, Ewe, and Fanti recorded in Ghana; muezzin's song, Guinea; Malinka songs, balaphon music and singers, Guinea; work songs of Mano stone cutters, Liberia; Mossi violins and drums and palace music of the Mano Nabo, emperor of the Mossi, Burkina Faso; coastal songs of Ewe and of Twi singers, Ghana; Baoule bush music, Côte d'Ivoire; Fanti fishing village, Liberia; Malinke balaphons, Guinea; Bambara Sudanese minstrels, Guinea; Kissi flutes and drums, Guinea; Malinke banjo and singers, Guinea; Buzi (Loma) harp songs, Liberia; songs in English and popular music performed in Monrovia, Liberia by Howard B.
