Dora Taylor (1899-1976), writer and lecturer, resident in Cape Town 1926 to 1963. She participated in the activities of multiracial groups opposed to the government’s racial policies, and she became a Marxist. She was a founder member of the Non-European Unity Movement. Among her writings are poems and songs related to South Africa.
